Therapy And knowledge.

Six forms of therapy, the effectiveness of which has been documented for centuries. We give you a well-founded overview – as a basis for your decision.
Introduction

A sauna is more
as warmth.

Sauna rituals have been part of human culture for as long as humans have made fire. The Finnish sauna tradition dates back over two thousand years, and its effects on body and mind have been extensively studied scientifically today. INUA combines six established forms of therapy in one cabin – each proven in itself, and extraordinary in combination.
01 · Heat Therapy

Deep heat.
The oldest therapy.

Regular sauna use is among the best-researched wellness applications. Heat dilates blood vessels, circulation accelerates, and muscles relax. Studies from Finland show a link between regular sauna use and cardiovascular health.

Finnish (80–95 °C, dry): classic, sweating, circulation training

Bio-sauna (50–60 °C, ~50 % humidity): gentle, easy on the circulation

Infrared (40–50 °C): Deep penetrating, warming via radiation instead of air

Recommended duration: 8–12 minutes per course, 2–3 courses with cold rinse

02 · Salt Therapy

Sole minerals in the air that is breathed.

In conjunction with the sauna heat, salt particles evaporate from a rock salt wall into the breathing air. According to studies on speleotherapy, the brine minerals can calm the bronchi and regenerate the skin's surface. Salt rooms have been part of traditional respiratory therapy in Central and Eastern Europe for centuries.

Application: Rock salt wall in the Vitarium, activated by sauna infusions

Proven effect on dry airways and irritated skin

Especially recommended when combined with a bio-sauna (gentle temperature).

A rock salt wall wears down – that's pure physics. A stone wall, however, does not, and it can also be illuminated from behind, giving it an iridescent glow. Our supplier offers the opportunity to choose the right one from over 100 stone types.

03 · Light & Colour Therapy

Colour as
Mood anchor.

Light directly influences hormone balance via the retina. Warm colours (red, orange) are activating, while cool colours (blue, green) are calming. Chromotherapy is specifically used in modern wellness practices to influence moods – in line with the time of day or life situation.

RGB-W Lighting: full colour spectrum plus warm white

Programmable according to the daily rhythm (activation in the morning, calming in the evening)

Indirectly installed – no glaring point of light, but atmospheric mood

Selectable via INUA touch panel or presets, or also starry sky lighting

04 · Acoustic Therapy

Sound
Deep relaxation.

Acoustic stimuli directly affect the autonomic nervous system. Gentle soundscapes, nature sounds, or structured music (e.g. 432 Hz, Solfeggio frequencies) are used in modern sound therapy for stress reduction. An integrated audio system turns the sauna into a sanctuary that appeals to all the senses.

Water-resistant speakers integrated into wood – acoustically unobtrusive

Bluetooth streaming or pre-recorded soundscapes

Volume and source controllable via Bluetooth

Optional connection to the lighting programme – RGB adjustable

05 · Aromatherapy

Activate scents
the limbic system.

Aromatic oils reach the limbic system – the part of the brain responsible for emotions and memories – directly via the sense of smell. In saunas, essential oils evaporate particularly intensely. Eucalyptus opens the airways, lavender calms, and citrus oils are invigorating.

Infusion with pure essential oils on the hot stones

Calming: Lavender, Cedarwood, Sandalwood

Activating: Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Citrus

Important: only 100 % pure oils; never synthetic fragrances

06 · Medicinal Herbs

Plant power
for centuries.

Before essential oils, there were the plants themselves – as an infusion in water, as a wreath on the wall, as a birch branch (Vasta) in Finnish tradition. Medicinal herbs have a dual effect: through the essential oils in the air and through direct contact with the skin. One of the oldest and gentlest forms of therapy.

Birch: traditional Finnish sauna infusion plant, blood-purifying

Mountain pine: alpine tradition, clearing for the airways

Eucalyptus: cooling, clarifying, widely used in modern times

Chamomile & Sage: soothing, skin-friendly
